Freight for Wreck Raiders
I have some unfortunate news that might actually have a positive spin for some of you. I got word yesterday that your games did not make it onto the ship that they were scheduled to be on. They had overbooked the ship because everyone was trying to get their product out of China before the Lunar New Year. Unfortunately, our games were left out. At this point I am not sure when the games are going to leave, but it isn't going to be this coming week. I will keep you posted the minute I find out when they get onto a ship.
The positive spin on this is that I am going to leave addresses open for another week or two. So you have some more time if you need to change your address.
The Good News
Even if we have to wait until everyone is back at work in China two weeks from now, we are still going to be ahead of schedule. It will mean that Wreck Raiders will land in the US in the middle of March, and will likely get to you at the beginning of April. This is great news to me! I hope you fell the same way.

Wreck Raiders on a Boat and Locking Addresses

Hey Divers!
We are trying to squeak in moving Wreck Raiders from our factory to the docks in China. The Chinese New Year holiday is coming and everything stops for about 20 days. This means that your games are [likely] going to be in a container and on a ship by week's end. Woohoo! If we can make this happen, we will be incredibly ahead of schedule.
This means that we're going to have to close addresses soon. Our new date for closing addresses is going to be Friday, February 1, 2019. Once addresses have closed, no changes can be made to anything.
****If you foresee any issues with this (you are moving and don't have an address yet), you can always ship it someone you know who will take care of it for you. If you have further issues with addresses, please don't hesitate to contact me.
We are all set up with our shipping partners around the world: Quartermaster Logistics (USA), Snakes and Lattes (Canada), VFI (Asia), Aetherworks (New Zealand and Australia), and GamesQuest (EU, Middle East, South America, Central America). Once we get your finalized addresses, I'll be putting together a backer report for each of the fulfilment companies. When I send your addresses along, your orders will be processed. Once the games are received at these facilities, they will be prepped and sent out to you. It's that easy ;)
This also means that we are going to have to close pre-orders soon. If you were thinking of getting in on the Bugs on Rugs pre-order, now is the time. Once the addresses lock, so will the pre-orders.

Wreck Raiders has been nominated for Most Anticipated Games of 2019 on BoardGameGeek in the Family and Dice categories. This is really exciting!! I've voted already. Have you?
To vote: all you have to do is follow this link and click on Wreck Raiders in both the Family and Dice categories. It's as simple as that.
BoardGameGeek is a free site that houses a database of nearly every board game that exists. If my memory serves me correctly, that's over 96 000 games! If you don't already have a profile and want to participate in the vote, because you are as excited as I am about this game, sign up here and then follow this link to vote!
I have some good news for you Divers! The manufacturer has assured me that your games will be on a boat on their way to your region of the world before they go away for holidays in February. I am already in the midst of working on numbers and fulfilment.
If you are not aware of how this works, here's some info for you: we're going to be sending your games to your region by freight liner (boat). The fulfilment house will receive the games, process them, pack them, label them, and then send them out to you.
Typically the regions to get their games first are China and other neighbouring countries in Asia. Soon after that is Australia/New Zealand and the EU. Finally, the USA and parts of Africa and Central and South America will get their games. Unfortunately, the last region to receive their games are typically Canadians. But I am working on that. I will try to get them sent out as close to the US shipment as possible.
So, Divers, this means that some of you might see your games as early as mid-March. Woohoo!
I have received a few messages over the last week or so about Bugs on Rugs. Yes, you can still pre-order it (for another month or so). Don't forget that only your games are discounted AND receive free shipping with your order of Wreck Raiders. Go here to pre-order.

Where We're At
Wreck Raiders is well on its way to being manufactured. In fact, we're expecting it to be on a ship headed to various regions of the world before China shuts down for its Lunar New Year celebration in February. This is great news. Hopefully we'll be on schedule to get your games to you before we anticipated.
What an overwhelming response to Bugs on Rugs. You seem like you are as excited about the game as we are. We have some great news about it ... we have sent the game out to several reviewers who have all reported back loving the game. We are anxiously awaiting their reviews. Once we have them out there, we'll be sending another update with links for you. We can't wait to get this awesome game into your hands.

Hey Divers,
It seems there was a BackerKit fail on my part. I actually didn't realize that I wouldn't be able open up your orders again after your cards were charged. They can't even do it on the back end.
So, here is what we can do. When you pre-order Bugs on Rugs through the regular pre-order here, I will go in and discount the shipping so that you will pay $0. I will have to do this after you have pre-ordered. I am so sorry for this mix-up. I take full responsibility for making you run around like this.
Don't forget that since you've backed the Wreck Raiders campaign your Bugs on Rugs will be shipped with it. If you are in the US, EU, Canada, or AU, your game will be VAT/ customs friendly. You won't pay extra taxes on it.
